Blair's Chicken Dinner - Wed. June 30, 2010
LionÕs Park downtown Basalt. Come and dine at our annual fund raiser chicken
dinner while listening to great music. The BRHS will serve up fried chicken,
coleslaw, baked beans and lemonade. Then finish it up with a slice of homemade
pie and ice cream. Adults and teenagers $10.00 kids (6-12) $5.00 and as always
children under 5 eat free. Come and enjoy a wonderful community event!
Roaring Fork Charity Classic - Monday September 13, 2010
Roaring Fork Club Basalt. Come on out for a round of golf and help raise the
Arbaney Barn. Enjoy golf, lunch, prizes and a fiesta party afterwards all

Book Signing:
Luke Danielson, grandson of Ralph Danielson, will be signing the update edition
of Basalt, Colorado Midland Town, on Saturday May 22, 2010. There will be
two signings, one at 9:30 - 11:30 in the old train depot (Alpine Bank Basalt)
and from 1:00 - 3:00 at the Basalt Regional Library. Please join us for this
exciting historical event. Books will be available for purchase..

Night - Saturday October 22, Two Rivers Cafe - 6-11:00 p.m..
Step through the swing-ing doors and join us for our 10th annual Saloon Night.
This wonderful community event will once again feature Jimmy Dykan and friends
for a real toe tapping and swing your partner kind of dancing. We will have
all of your favorite gaming tables and a chuck wagon buffet to whet everyone's
appetite. Cost are holding the same with BRHS members paying $25.00 single
or $45.00 a couple. So grab your best cowgirl or cowboy and come on down for
a Òbarn raising benefitÓ As always all proceeds go to the Arbaney Barn restoration.
